What happens next

We will acknowledge complaints received by email within two working days and will seek to resolve them within ten working days. Where a complaint cannot be resolved within that period, we will notify you of the reason for the delay and the expected next steps.

Our records

Every complaint is logged in a register with its outcome, and the correspondence is retained. You may ask for a copy of your complaint record.

Complaint records. If you have made a formal complaint, we retain the record of your complaint, including your name, email address, the substance of your complaint and how we handled it, for five years from the date the complaint was received. This record may be retained after your account is deleted where necessary for complaints management, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

If you are not satisfied

You may refer the matter to the Securities and Exchange Commission, Nigeria (sec.gov.ng), which regulates the Nigerian capital market and operates its own complaints process.
